Default My 2018 Sierra 6.2 exhaust and other mods

Good afternoon all, I figure I'd share my little exhaust journey so far and what's to come.
last June I bought my 6.2 and before I was done signing papers I already had exhaust parts ordered. I was interested in the Aero/Jones Turbine mufflers and there theories so I decided to give it a try. I wanted to reduce the chance of droning do I went with the 3535XL Jones turbine and a Vibrant performance 1796 race muffler, I kept the stock 3.5" tubing but went new 304 stainless from performance tube bending and an Ebay 3.5" to 4.5" stainless tip. I have to say it worked out perfectly, no drone and any speed, nice and mellow but still has a deep throaty rumble.
And I'm no scientist but I swear I'm getting better fuel milage than my 2017 Sierra 5.3. I wonder if those mufflers really do help?

Little video before I added the last exhaust hanger. https://youtu.be/rcWsPKnAYqc

So you just had them weld in this Jones muffler into the stock location. Then turn it out to the side before the rear tire with a resonator "basically"

Sounds great
I've been trying to figure out if I'm going to go back with the magnaflow 12909 weld into the stock location like my last 6.2 or something else. I really like the price and sound of that muffler. Plus I could do that and leave my stock rear resonator and basically have something similar to yours. It can't be to loud because I'm adding headers with no cats.

Thanks guys.
@Jonblarc7, "basically" yes. I didn't increase size. 1 thing to note about the stock exhaust is after the resonator it drops to 3" but that's only the last foot or so.

I added another post with more recent news yesterday but it's not here.... So let me try again.
I ordered some Stainless Works headers with cats and I plan to run a "true dual" set up with 2 Jones Turbine mufflers but the 3030XL. After those I bump up to 3.5" and run the same resonators and tips.
Already pre fab'd the muffler set up so I will just have to connect the 2 together. Headers should be here today, install this weekend and tune on Monday!!

The muffler alone. No.
It's all new and stainless from the factory clamp back. I have thought about trying to sell the whole part but I will prob keep at all just incase I need to but it back to stock.

10-4 just trying to be a cheap *** and snag a muffler only for cheap.

I love the exit in-front of the rear wheel but I don't think my 1-1/2" body lift will let it stuck up nice and tight to the body with the frame rail right there.

No worries. Ya, I got this 1 up as high as possible and don't think there would be room for more.
