I run Pacesetter LT with 3" collectors, reduced down to 2 1/2" dual's into a dual in/out 18" Magnaflow over the axle and 3" slash tips at the roll pan. Sounds great, not raspy, but just a tad bit of drone in the cab at around 85 mph. I've had the Mag's in for over 5 yrs and they are getting louder, they have packing in the muffler that is slowly going away.

I have a long bed too with a stroked 383 and adding a supercharger after Christmas. I plan on changing the set up to 3" duals into an X pipe to a dual in/out Spintech out slashed at the pan. Spintech doesn't have packing in the muffler so the sound wont change over time.

Which cherry bomb is it that sounds basically stock at idle, but when you get on it really opens up, sounds similar off idle to a 40 series flowmaster
