We use MSD wires on just about every car and truck unless a customer specifies a different brand. Never had a problem whatsoever, unless the wire was touching a manifold or header tube directly.

I just bought some used and I could tell a noticable difference over my XACT OEM replacements.

When you guys put the MSd wires on do they already come as a application for the truck, or do you send some wires and one has to cut them and crimp them to fit them on. Last time I checked MSD did not have a direct replacement for our trucks.

They are designed for our trucks. Don't remember the part # but they do make them.

For our trucks the part number is MSD-32823 for the black wires and MSD-32829 for the red wires. The spark plug wires on the ls1s are shorter than the ones on our trucks.

The MSD wires and their other components are awesome. That's all we use in our race cars.
