Does your truck have the coil packs on the valve covers? I thought the MSD 6AL was for motors with distributors?!?

i'm pretty sure you can't use it on the truck. msd sells individual coils for our trucks. 75 a piece, and they claim multiple spark distribution coils.... so....in essence it would work, but that an expensive upgrade for maybe 1-2 hp.

I have had 2 different msd boxs. 1 the Offroad 6AL on my 4x4 crapped out on me after 6 months of use.
2. the Digital 6 plus ign. box on the streetbeast and it crapped out on me after about 4 moths of use. but i am running a MSD pro billit dist, and MSD blaster SS coil.

Maybe if you were running a 11:1 or higher compression motor, then the extra spark could help. But as others stated, use that money for something else. You can get a shiftkit for about $80, or a trans cooler, or some servo's. Or even buy something for the Mrs on V day
