+MPG List

Ok, My '88 LT1/T56 T/A broke down about 2 months ago. I work at a stealership, so I bought an '03 1500 Ext Cab w/a 4.8. I got a K&N filter out of a used vehicle, but that's my only mod. So, I'm currently looking into mods that'll increase gas mileage, and power at the same time. So, what are your mods, and what kind of mileage do y'all get? Can we list the mods cost effective mods and what they do for your MPG?

Same as above and get a custom tune. It gave me 2.5-3 more mpg.
The stock air box and tubing with a K&N will give you better MPG than an aftermarket one.
A good cat-back exhaust system that just uses 1 in and 1 out may give you better MPG as well.

I havent test it for city mileage yet, but on the highway on my last trip it gave me 19.2-20mpg..
not bad with 4.10 gear

I get 16 city and around 19-20 highway stock. When installing LS1 fans, you've gotta rig them to stay, get the aftermarket harness, and get the PCM tuned for the fans. Only question I have is if I have any work done to the PCM, will it still communicate with the Tech2, and can I still update the calibrations via Techline at the dealership?
