Default movin gas tank 4 exhuast

ok i am thinkin of moving my gas tank between the rear frame rails so i can run duals with out havin 2 y over 2 one side what do u guiys think. and i was also thinkin of runnin a tank out of a 98 2door tahoe and tryin 2 wire up the factory 98 pump and sendin unit. any of u guys every done this or herad of it beenin done with switchin 2 a fuel cell. thanks

What do you have now? Sounds like a terrible idea and a lot of work. Just cross over the axle then run a pipe over to that side in front of the spare.

Yea....new fuel lines, new evap lines, custom filler neck, custom mounting, no spare, and not sure if will hang down below the bumper or not but I bet it will....

ya but if i run a cell i got 2 do all that any ways rite? idk is y i am askin plus i dont want a tank n my bed

I've thought about doing this too. Them tanks or deep, and will be hanging down below the bumper. But I think with a roll pan it would hide it, but I'm not sure. I got some pictures on here with some measurements. I was planning on putting the filler behind the brake light..

I have true duals with the OEM gas tank in place also, all 3" pipping also I'm 4WD.

well were r u guys placin ur mufflers and duimpin the pipes if u still got the stock tanks

Mine run down passenanger side and mufflers are under the bed mine come out on both sides of the bumper.
