Default Motor swap?

Hey peeps.I currently have a 07 nnbs 2wd with a 4.8l,with bolt ons.I have an opportunity to get a sweet deal on a l92?My question is can my truck be tuned as the 6.2 has vvt but my 4.8l doesnt.What would i need to do so there are no codes or sel?Thank you and Happy New Year.

I to have a very similar truck as you, and the VVT would require the engine harness plus the computer.

I talked to a guy at LME that said they could block off the VVT, but I don't know what is involved with this. Maybe a plate for the cam phaser and a new cam would be the best situation.

Take the vvt crap out and slap it in. Looking back now I really wish I had gone with an L92. Oh well.
