Default motor swap

I have the chance to get a 2006 serria 4.3 5 speed,for a good deal. is a 4.8 /5.3 direct bolt in ,or is it a pain in the ***?

it would be at least a 3,000 ordeal and will take a bit of time - it's no a direct bolt in, but spending enough money can get it that way.

I figured about $5K for mine when I was thinking about doing it, I decided against it. If you can get it cheap enough, it may be worth it.
