So i stayed a little longer at the card room then i should have but thats in the past and this is now and i have to decide what to do next MOTOR OR DRIVETRAIN....

Current mods: JBA headers (shorties i know go long tube but im in cali and have to remain street leagal), Mac cai, custome exhaust (coming next week just put in the headers now time to finish it off), hypertech pp( again i know its a piece of **** i bought it before i found people that knew what they where talking about and it will stay until i finish a few more mods )

My question is do i put in gears trutrac and shift kit or go for some more motor mods what will benifit me the most for the money....and if its motor what should i do...oh yeah i have a 4.8 rcsb and im not doing a motor at least for a few years until this isnt my daily driver

 

oh yeah trying to keep it around $1500 for this round of mods

 

How bout both? Get a set of gears and get a new cam. Cam will help with the power, gears will make it "feel" like you have more power.

 

well the cost for me to get yukon 4.10's and detroit trutrac is $1005 installed and if i do that ill put in a shift kit also and i think that might tap me out for this round.

i havent priced cam and parts istalled yet anyone have any ideas on cost
