Default Motive Gears?
I'm looking at some motive gears at thunder racing. I looking at the 4.10's anyone running these and any whine? They sell there for 189.00 anyone find any cheaper places for gears? Thanks in advance

As long as you have the backlash set correctly they should be silent..

I've got the 3.73's in my '86, no whine. Picked them up off of Ebay at GearsAreUs or something like that. Gears, Eaton posi and install kit shipped to the house for $575.

I got a set of 4.56's off of ebay I think for $135 + shipping, about 6k miles and they are fine.
