Just thought I'd add my times I got at TRP the other night.
1st run- 14.721 @ 93.86 mph
2nd run- 14.671 @ 94.35 mph
3rd run- 14.825 @ 93.43 mph
4th run- 14.717 @ 93.86 mph
5th run- 14.760 @ 93.34 mph

The (2) lowest 93 mph runs (3rd and 5th runs) I put the truck in 3 instead of D. Didn't think it would make a difference but maybe it did a little. Still need to do better on my 60 ft times:
1- 2.273
2- 2.312
3- 2.344
4- 2.310
5- 2.272

All runs were made with 1/2 tank of gas and no weight reduction on 20's. Add my weight of 245 lbs also.
Current mods, Dyno tune by Ed Wright at Fastchip, K&N 77 series, (2) Flowmaster 40's with x pipe before and exhaust dumped after. And the hood if that counts for anything.

Good times! They are very consistent with other times VHO owners are reporting. Somewhere around 14.6 seconds in full street trim. Take some weight off next time and see what you get. I bet 2-3 tenths less.

 

Nice times we got to get them down a little more.

 

Man, those times make me sick thinking how slow my Z71 was..

I'm gonna have a hard time keeping up with the modded VHOs even with my heads/cam 5.3L..

 

I told you that your times would be significantly better with some more miles on the truck Congrats. Any other cool trucks there? Not many at all were running when I went (had to run a Z28 SS, Corvette and a Mustang). Let me know the next time you are going out, maybe we can meet up.

 

Thanks. There was an older chevy truck there running 12's I think. A Lightning that ran 13.3. I did see a new Mustang GT I was surprised when I saw it run a 13.3 also.
Oh, there was this Dodge truck. He asked me to race and I said sure why not. He had a 99 with the 5.9 engine, headers, tune, blah, blah, blah he said he thought it would be an even race. Needless to say after 1st race he ran a 16.1 and said something happened lets race again. 2nd time he ran a 16.2. These 2 runs were my last 2 of the night but most rewarding.
