Default more questions

i am cutting the 1 chambers off the truck in the morning. what do you guys think i should do with the exhaust now? i'm gonna put in some cut outs where the cats would be so from there i can run 3" all the way back with x pipe or whatever. i was actually thinking of running 2.5" with 2 2.5" round bullet mufflers. and when i get the long tubes in a month or so just weld them in with ball/socket fittings matted to the cutouts. any ideas here? it will be a heads/cam 6.0 with a mild bore. the motor will also see some mild to huge nitrous use so is 3" really that much better than 2.5" or will there even be that much of a difference for the huge difference in cost?

also, someone with fueling knowledge chime in here, i am planning on using the 30# injectors from svo(already have them) for those of you who have already seen my plans for this motor do you think those injectors will be enough?

i'm gonna have some slicks put on my stock 16" wheels. they aren't the fancy stock wheels, but the nasty painted grey steel wheels. what size mickey thompson et street tires should i run? 3.73 or 4.10 what size goes best with both gear ratios? and what should i do for the front? i wish we could run skinnies like the car guys do, but i thought i'd take the stock wheels and get some cheap short narrow tires mounted on them, any ideas?

lastly, i have a set of 3.73 gears for the truck and a set of 4.10s as well. which would most of you run? i know the 4.10s will be best for drag racing, but how will the 3.73s run on the track as well.

i think that's all for now.

For having this big ole motor planned out, he sure doesn't have the rest of the truck planned very well. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />

how do you figure i don't have it planned out? i have a good tranny, already have the plan for the suspension. a suspension which will be better than 99% of the rest of trucks of it's kind. 3 link with coil overs panhard bar and possibly a 12 bolt.

put up or shut up bitch, all you do is talk **** but i don't see you building a big motor or having a bad *** truck or anything else. if you don't like me then don't post in my threads.

Read your own post, moron. "more questions"

Your truck has been badder than every other truck on this board since day one....how do you figure that?

If you haven't gotten a stage 3 tranny, then you will be rebuilding it to those specs after the first week that your "built" tranny is behind that motor....if it ever makes it into existence.

the tranny under it now will hold up fine for a while without nitrous use. i do plan to get a stage 2/3 tranny within a few months. i never claimed my truck was badder than anyone's...hell i've never even ran it in on a quarter mile track. but it is decent i guess...it's gonna be a ton better when the new motor is finished. and what's with all this if my motor makes it into existance bull ****...i already have it only thing i'm waiting on is pistons/rods. i already have stock pistons/rods but i need forged **** so i don't blow it up. I, unlike your bitch *** have the ***** to run a 200-300 shot. so like i said either way put up or shut up.

Yeah i have to agree with Slow on this. You dont show much support for anybody on here. The only time you say something is to tell them they have done something wrong. It is never " hey man that sounds great but you might want to think about this.....Just a thought" These guys are having fun with their trucks so let them play around with their ideas. Your pretty much a punk man.
