My cat's are fairly new, I know in the world of mod's you can't rule anything out cuz it's new, tell my first set of "dynatech" cats that I lost due to running way too rich. I got the biggest cats this time around, still dynatechs. They only have about 6K on them. But Greentahoe is right, our setup wouldn't let them last anyway. Ugh. Let me know DenaliHD and Wilde how your's turns out.

A/F stays around 14:1 and drops to around 10.5:1 at wot. I let you know on the cats.

WOT at 10.5 seems a bit rich. Wouldn't doubt those cats have taken a dump as well. Forced induction is less forgiving as N/A.

Bank 1 cat...toast. I went and passed emmissions today(I know amazing). Cats are gutted now, as soon as I get this 80e straight, we'll be good to go. Great call GreenTahoe! Thanks.

Well Dew, now you've got 2 years before you need worry about emissions. I would just have the cats' gutted and put back on where the "look" like they are on there. You can tune the pcm to pass emissions anyway, and the only test they do on 96-up OBD II's is plugging in and reading your computer. How's the 6.0L running anyway? Seems like you are still working the bugs out of your set-up.

Already gutted. Bugs...**** I have been infested with locusts. LOL Remember I told ya I kept my 5.3 stage 3 heads...I think my setup is unhappy with the higher compression ratio. I didn't measure it all out before I put it together. Secondly...my brand new 4l80e I had built by Jet took a freaking crap. I have that apart right now...definitely a low pressure issue, forward, 2nd, and 3rd are burnt up. I have a professional inspecting right now but in short the bands were USED. SO I am sure it was crappy build. But if I know these performance companies, it won't be their problem, they'll blame it on me and my tune..I had it set for to low of pressure or something. FWW...I had it in the high 12's on the Gtech before the trans started going and the cat collapsed. Did you ever get rid of your dry kit? I remember you talking about getting rid of it...I see you still have it in your sig.

Man you seem to have the worst luck of anyone I know. Glad you got it figured out. That sucks on the tranny. I cant seem to make up my mind if I want to risk it and go with a stock '80 since my setup doesnt make as much power down low or go with an FLP as I know Chuck stands behind his work. Im really not sure what Im going to do now as I had planned on doing nitrous along with the T trim, but my better half wont have any nitrous in the truck. I may have to sell the T trim before I even have the truck really running.

yep...If luck was on the floor in front of me I'd still trip over it and break an arm or something. I should probably stop jumping out of planes for fun just cuz of my history with luck. I will start another thread sometime soon to tell everybody what I found inside my 3 F'ing thousand dollar transmission that I got from Jet Performance, but I'll give them a chance to make it right first.

FWW a stock 80 can take a hell of beatin.

I should be back on the road tomorrow afternoon. Green your sig says progressive meth...is that just a seperate controller for nitrous that you used or something that was included in your meth kit? What's your settings? Just cuirous and off topic obviously.

I did, that's what it was, bank 1 collapsed. I gutted them...the both of them are hollow now. "Normal" sucks. I am just too hard for a performance related vehicle...I am always "in it".

I'm not Green but, Alky control makes a progressive meth system.
