Default MORE LS4 Q&A!!!!

Yeah i am curious to what the external parts of the cooling system of this motor are? i looked at one very briefly and it didnt look like it had an overflow can somebody take some pics of the set up on these cars (monte n impala)

One tid bit I "heard" was that the block casting was a little different and there aren't provisions for motor mounts to put them in rear wheel drive vehicles. Don't know about the cooling though.

yeah me to but what i am trying to do is eliminate my coolant tank, it looked as tho these motors dont have overflow tank for the coolant, i wanna convert to this setup if at all possible, i do not like the size of the stock ugly overflow.

Get a custom radiator made that actually HAS a radiator cap and you can rid yourself of the overflow pretty easily, just be aware that the new rad had better be big enough to prevent overheating or you're gonna be seriously frustrated......
