Default More fuel pump ???s

My fuel pump is about to die on me. It starts hesitating ~2300 rpms. I travel across the country a lot so I don't want to deal with the 1/4 tank issue that some people are having. I do plan on making more power. What should I do? I have read somewhere that you can use a f-body fuel pump. I did a search but I can't find it. Do you still have the 1/4 tank issue with the f-body pump? What's the part#? I saw that Texas speed has a Walbro kit with a small section of tube. Does this fix the problem?

Thanks,
J.R.

How much are you planning to mod the truck? If you plan, just a bolton NA truck, replace your intank pump with another stock intank module, for zero hassle performance. If you need more add a inline pump between the tank and engine to boost the output. The crossmember just behind the transmission is an ideal place to mount an inline pump, but the intank pump needs to be in good condition to feed the inline pump,so replace the intank module first.

Thanks Whitt. I was thinking about just going with a stock replacement but I can only find the whole assembly and not just the pump. The run about 270 for NAPA to 540 for GM I figure I should upgrade now. I may be picking up a STS in a couple of weeks but I need the pump now!

Bosch makes a replacement module with a better fuelpump and $270 is way high,I bought a stock module from Autozone for under $200.

I went to Auto Zone yesterday, they weren't sure which one I needed but the cheapest was $280. Maybe they didn't have the Bosch in stock??? I'll try another location tomorrow.
