Default More E-Fan questions :P

Ya, Is there any way possible to controll the fans by temp automaticly without using a Toggle Switch and without using a tune from nelson? If so...Id would really enjoy here yalls answers =D Ohh and a lil off topic....wats the point of having a de-screened maf lol. Thx guys!

I descreened my MAF, then found out its a bad ides. Something to do with line pressure for the trans, but I don't know, so I won't steer you wrong.
As far as the fans, I have mine controlled by a temp controler I picked up from Pep boys. My fans come on with the A/C, or when the radiator gets hot enough. They go off when it cools down, as long as the ac is off. Just make sure they come on wiht the A/C, or you will sweat your N^#$ off till you get air going across your condenser. Downfall of 134a.

haha thx for the info..I wasnt gunna descreen it but I was wondering wtf all these people do it for (no offence guys). But yea, I am gonig to do the efan soon. And prolly wont ahve enough for Nelson untill nexted pay day So, yea....with my memory..I wont remember to ever turn off the fans if I do tun them off after I leave my truck for the night haha.

I think most descreen the MAF to try to increase airflow...but in reality the screen actually helps straighten out the air flowing through it so the MAF can get a more accurate reading.

i have mine riged up with a 50amp toggle switch, been working for two months now, i need to get a tune soon though...
