Anyone see the latest issue of Hot Rod? They did a 6.0 buildup with just bolt on parts to get 53hp/74tq on an engine dyno. Pretty good article. Sounds like they are going to continue with this engine in future articles.

 

Nice, I'll have to check that out. Was it an Lq4, LQ9, or LS2? Carbed or FI?

 

It's an LQ9, it actually showed the LS1 intake swap lost HP, LS6 was so negligible it wasn't worth the effort and the LSX was ok, but nothing in the double digit regime.

 

latest as in the august issue. i know i have the april where they did a build up on a carbed lq4 with 1 3/4 headers and a gm hot cam. in the may issue, they added l92 heads and a bigger cam for even more power. let me know which issue it is as if it is different than april and may, i got to go get it asap. let me know.
