Default Mods Update!!!!

ASM headers and Magnaflow Cat-Back are installed and all I can say is WOOOW the truck feels so different, it's faster than I thought.
For those guys that haven't decide which muffler to buy, the sound of the magnaflow is great it has a nice rumble at high revs and you can barely hear it when cruising or at idle. The truck runs great, that header cat-back combo is really giving the airflow that the radix needs, I can't wait to put that 03 LS1edit tunning on the truck and get the most of it.

I highly recommend this cat-back (single in and out)and the ASM headers believe me you won't regret it. Just for you guys to know.
I hope it doesn't rain tomorrow to bring some track times, I'll let you know.

Thanks.

Shark_q, Farmtruc made the radix install in San Antonio.
Allen (Farmtruc)is a great guy and really knows his stuff about trucks, I really love the install, it looks like if it was stock.

Thanks.

Sweet man! I defintely want set of those ASM headers for my truck!

With that cat-back are you keeping the factory y-pipe? Is that cat-back stainless? Do you think that the Magnaflow cat-back might be better than the Dynomax Ultra flo cat-back? Sorry for all the questions, just trying to figure out what to go with.

Yes, with this catback you are keeping your stock Y pipe and its stainless. I have no experience withthe Bynomax, but I have had Magnaflow in 2 trucks now and it rocks.

Shark_g - Is it better to keep the factory y-pipe and a cat-back or go with an x-pipe and 2 mufflers?

I hear going dual with an X pipe is the optimal set up. I am not sure how much rwhp this set will gve you. The reason I went thsi route is bacause I saw a single 3 inch Magnaflow catback tested in the April "Sport Truck" magazine. They did before and after #'s and this set gave 12 hp at the rear wheels.

If just the cat-back alone gave you 12rwhp than I have to think about how much more you both got with the ASM headers added. I will definitely consider the same set-up with the ASM long tubes and a Magnaflow cat-back. The one thing that I will like about it will be that it is stainless. Thanks for the info Shark_g!

They also have aluminized steel. I went with this since no one is going to be looking under my truck, its cheaper and you get the same amount of flow.
