Default Mods and Milelage??

I have about 600 miles on my Nelson Tune, TOG headers, and 05 efans and I am getting the exact same gas mileage as before all of these mods. It doesn't matter if I have a lead foot or I baby it, it is still the same. Could it be running that rich from the mods and the tune? The tune was done to incorporate the mods. Has anyone else experienced this and what is the best way to check this out? I thought that I would see a 2-3 MPG increase after doing these mods from what I have read on this site?? 2002 1500HD LQ4 4x4

it mainly depends on the tune did you tell Nelson to tune for gas mileage or power. I would consider yourself lucky to be getting the same gasmileage with a lead foot. If I drive a whole tank with a lead foot i get around 11mpg nomal granny drving around 13.5 so consider yourself lucky.

On a 100 mile round robin to camp with the cruise set at 55 and easy acceleration the best I have ever gotten is 15MPG and running around town I get between 9-11 MPG depending on how much idoling I do on that tank but I guess It averages out to around 12-13 on average. I had it tuned for power but I thought that that would still give you better MPG if you stayed out of the throttle?
