well guys im new to this thread and i have a 01' ecsb LS z71, its a 5.3... i just started modding it and this is what i have so far

flowmaster dumped
knn CAI
asp pulleys
tb spacer
taylor wires
ngk tr55's

thats about it right now, and i want to know what wlse besides the headers i can do to it.... e fans??? what else can i do to it before i tune it so i can get good power out of it, im dont want to go crazy with it, just want a little more power out of it.... thanks for the help guys...

 

It is less hassle to tune for the efans so I would do those after the tune. TB spacers are worthless and don't do anything on these engines. Depending on what gears you have, get you some gears and a locker. Of course you will have to get the tune calibrated for those...

 

yeah, i knde know about the spacers, i just like the way they sound, lol.... my truck has 22's, and somebody on the forums told me that it came with a 3.73, you think i should get more gear??? im going to make the drive to nelson in about trhee weeks, and get them to install my ls1 e fans, you think that will be good enough??

 

22s you might want some 4.10 gears!! It should be running good. Make sure he does a street tune!!

 

yeah, thats what i was thinking, im getting the 4.10's also.... i dont want to do the headers right now, ill do the full exhaust after summer..
