ok i just did a lot of mods and now it does not run so good. i have to push the pedal down to get it to start it diesels when i turn it of after a drive. and now it is slow slow till 2500 rpm. any ideas?


rebuilt 5.3l with 243 heads comp ratio is 9.6:1
cam 211 218 dr at .050 and 510 561 lift on a 114
obx long tube headers to a 3" pipe with a high flow muffler
k&n cold air intake
and fast hand tuner
tr55 plugs

the hand held has programs for cams but i gues it is not so good. after like 2700 rpm it is a beast. would i need a stall

wouldnt hurt to have a stall on anything but pull that hand held out and sell it and find a sponsor on the right and atleast get a mail order if not get a custom dyno tune..spend all this money on mods and not have it tuned...gotta have a tune

yeah i know. but i dont know of any one close to orange count that can do it. how are the mail order tunes

If you're in california, give Ryan Smith (SROMagazine.com) a call, he should know of a few good tunes in the area. Definitely get a tune - not only will it fix your problems, but it'll also give you a ton more power.
