Default MIT Pipe worth it?

Is it worth it to just get the MIT pipe from thunderracing.com rather than getting the cold-air box and filter with it?

its better than the stock pipe yes... you could create your own if you're bored and want a project.

you can modify the stock box too with cutting out part of the bottom to pull air from the wheel wells.

I tested with both the MIT and the stock pipe and I saw no improvements with the MIT. My best time came with the stock pipe on my truck with very modest mods.

idk what his problem is... you try and help someone and they act like that. tisk tisk.

as far as hp gains.. probably none... throttle response was greater than i had mine on. Theres an extra passage for air to be caught in the stock tubes.. this MIT design is much more straight through w/o the extra air pockets.

Golden- Its a Modular Intake Tube from Airaid.... oh and I have a girl friend, thanks. David on the other hand... idk what he's into
