Default Mild Setup - Opinions

Hey folks, want some opinions on my setup here. From what I've been reading, there are some pretty healthy mills under your hoods and I'm really impressed! When I made some passes at Englishtown last week guys were even telling me about this dude named Parish with his blue sleeper runnin' 10's. Told them I felt like I practically know the guy from being a part of this forum for the past couple of months. (You're like famous dude)

Anyway, before I start, I mean keep rambling on, I was wondering what everyone thinks about the mild setup I'm working on. Keep in mind that this is my daily driver and only form of transportation until I win the lottery. Right now I'm just lookin for a little more pep without sacrificing major fuel mileage and driveability. Plus, my Pop told me that at some point he'll let me run his 10 second Malibu.

As is I ran 16.5 @ 81.7 mph. Check my sig. What kind of improvement do you think I'll see from the cam and how do you think my mileage will be? Possible 15.9 @ 85? Also, I know this is blasphemy here, but I've been considering the HPPIII, just to make minor tweaks on the weekend and be able to go back to stock for driving to work during the week....gotta save some cash first though...a little tapped out after my recent and yet to be installed purchases.

Any input would be greatly appreciated, and I'm also open for suggestions. I'm an ex Master tech and thought I knew it all until I started participating in these forums...I've really learned alot! Thanks a ton in advance.

hey welcome. rambling ha ha ha ha .a good tune is in order. if it is a 99 then it will cost about the same as a hpp3.except that a custom tune is way better.and as for gas mileage it will help out. you wont have to take it out either.

I'm assuming NELSON is the way to go...seems to be the concensus. He can tailor the tune for a daily driver and I won't have to worry about KR? How much $$$?

What kind of times and mpg should I expect?

Budhayes3 if you havent seen the video of Parish8 smoking the white hoped up mustang you need to see it. I still get a laugh out of it every time I see it. I didn't have my nitrous on? What a lame excuse. Hopefully someone will post it here.

Gaining efficiency equates to power and economy. My tune got me to 15-16mpg average and about 20mpg freeway only. Not bad considering I drive with 3.73:1 gears and 33" ATs.
