How often do you tow? My 5.3 with a 212/218 low lift runs exactly like the stock cam under 2500rpm so I can tow whatever I want no problem. On a 6.0 it should bring torque even lower but I wouldn't expect huge gains up top so not worth the hassle.

A tr220 with a 112lsa will have a nice chop and you should be able to tow. There're plenty of videos on youtube if you want to hear the idle.

heres my vote:

it can be used with ls6 valve springs and its a dam good price...
That's the cam that I want in my LQ9 It's a Crane grind and the same as the Vinci Stangbanger. It should work well with my Circle-D multi-disc that should stall at about 2800-3000 behind a 6.0

Here are cam specs to help compare. Stock 6.0 Lq9 HO. 467-479 lift, 196-201 duration,116lsa 5600 max rpm. Comp cams 265hr- 522-529 lift, 212-218 duration, 114 lsa, 6000 max rpm. This is a mild cam but it will pick up a good bit over stock and you can get away with inexpensive yellow springs and stock push rods. If you want a nice lope at idle on a 6.0L you would need to go a little larger. I can barley hear it in mine a stock idle speed but I didnt want my maggie to clatter so this one works well for me.

I'd use the PAC 1218's with that cam, as the lobes are supposed to be pretty agressive and the LS6 springs only have 90# of closed seat pressure vs. 130# for the PAC 1218's and Comp 918's. I've read multiple threads with pics of broken Comp 918's which will keep me away from them until I see proof that they are reliable and not prone to breakage.

ur stock pushrods are crap man... no matter which cam you choose you're going to have to switch them out... if you just want a little above stock look into the 212/218 high light, the low lift is not going to give you the top end that your wanting.. but torque will be in abundance....
here are the specs on the 212/218 high lift:

You'll need new pushrods no matter what. As for the yellow springs/tr220 combo some people have gotten away with it, but I wouldn't do it.

If you're going to install a cam that doesn't need good springs and pushrods on a 6.0 you're wasting your time and money IMO. A 212/218 isn't much even for a 5.3, let alone a 6.0

Lots of people walked this path before, you wanna do the same mistake?
