Default Mild cam???

I've got a 2008 Silverado 5.3,I didn't plan on doing any internal work, but I'd like to replace lifters just as PM, and i have debated about doing a cam I figured if I'm gonna do a cam I might as well do the cam while I got it apart for the lifters.
So my question, is there a mild enough cam out there that I can do the cam only with no other upgrades/mods required?
And this is a daily driver so durability/reliability is a concern? (Example I've heard CompCams don't usually last more than 60-70k miles)
Thanks for any help

Plans are 4.30 gears, built trans with very low stall converter, and just bolt-on's

Crane Cams, Cam Motion, and BTR all off "drop in" cams. Very mild, but better than stock.

They all have decent choices, but getting one that meets your exact needs will always be best.

I spoke with a local performance shop and I think I'm gonna go with a BTR but I also think I'm gonna do a step above drop in and go with a LS1 stage 2

And just like that things spiral out of control

Just remember to pick a cam that suites YOUR needs not YOUR wants

Doesn't your present engine have AFM? You probably want to tune that out. Remove the AFM components if keeping this engine. Your present motor is also drive by wire. LS1 is drive by cable. So that would have to be converted. Much to consider on this. Different generation of engines also affects knock sensor type/location, cam position sensor location, reluctor wheel?

I would go the 212/218 low lift or something in that neighborhood. Hardened pushrods are a must no matter what. Cam choice is very personal. Best advice if your keeping stock springs keep the lift low like under .550(can you go higher yes, but for mild durability sake keep it low) and keep duration under 220 on the intake and under 224 on the exhaust side. I am a fan of a little exhaust bias.
