Mild 6.0?
#1
I am looking for the truck now Im looking for a RCSB 2WD 1500 auto
I though about a LS1 swap and then about Radix, but I dont see 6grand in my budget when im still going to be paying for the truck (and im 18) I would like to have around 380RWHP and a little better then that in TQ I was just wonding if this would be possible with the mod I was thinking about doing along with a 6.0 swap
6.0 LQ4
Hamm Headers
True Dual Exhaust(with H-Pipe)
Volant Cold Air Intake
Nelson Tune
Cam(unsure of which one yet it has to be streetable but still have a little lope and plenty of TQ)
Electric Fans
I would also probably do like 2600RPM Stall Converter
Im needing to keep this truck very streetable and pretty conserative on gas because once I get this truck set up pretty Nice I have another project I really wanna get to

One poor newbs advice to another. First thing i would use an x-pipe they are supposed to flow better. if you are tight on money you can make your own intake. A lot of people on this forum like the 212/218 comp cam. I think for the 6 liter the high lift version would be better. Also you can probably use LS1 fans instead of shellin out the 400 for flex-a-lites.

6.0's do like to eat fuel though. i wouldn't expect over 14mpg with it.

285rwhp with CAI, tstat, electric fans and cat back pulled, 322rwhp adding a cam
those numbers are thru a tcase and 4l80e so they would be a little higher in a 2wd and then add the headers and you will probably be close to your 380rwhp.
i would go a little steeper on the stall, a 3000 is still prety mild. i could see 13's with what you have planed and some traction.
