Thanks, that's what I always look for, realworld examples. I appreciate the info. What else have you tested?

Maybe they had a bad set or I had a good set.

Doesn't matter though. If you're not in a real hurry, you can get the same gains for cheaper.

BTW, I ordered my Hamms, and within a week they were ready for my payment and I had them in less than 2 weeks from ordering. Not in "THE GP" though.

Then in March, the GP guys started getting thiers. I won't argue with your tape measure either . But look at the specs. I have access to both. I'll take measurements and a few pics and post them up.

Hey BigTex: Did you have a chance to take measurements or pictures yet. I'm still trying to decide if the long tubes are worth the extra money too. Thanks

I won't have pictures until this evening. Looking at the ASMs, does it really matter if they have a little larger primary? It all gets funneled through a small short skinny 2.5" collector. I am going to have to bust off the 2.5 on the ASMs and get it to a 3" somehow.

I will get measurements and pics this evening.

Here is a pic with the info. The ASM does have 1.75" primary tubes, but they are completely choked down at the flange. Its a 2.5" collector that is extremely short. Most headers have a nice long funnel to merge the flow while these have about 3" between the primaries and the flange. My Hamms measure at 1.632" exterior diameter. I called ASM and they said I couldn't order a set with a larger collector because they dont have a jig set for that. Tbyrne told me it was a 3" collector before I ordered (although I knew it would have a 2.5" one). Oh well, time to get the sawzall and grinder after them.

Oh yeah, ASM sent a new set of GM gaskets part # 12558573.
