So how do you run 3? All I've ever seen are dual in tank setups, never a tripple.

i am making around 650 rwhp with the stock fuel pump and a voltage booster. I would hope that a walbro would be good for more than 500 rwhp

Judging by what was posted by Big Thumper, with a voltage booster, the walbro would definitely be capable of supporting more than 500, that number was at 12V, if I understand correctly. Not to mention, its using an estimated BSFC.

Big Thumper -- thanks for the detailed reply and welcome to the site! I thought turbos had a higher BSFC than S/C?

I'm currently running 2 GSS340s (one on a hobbs switch to activate at 5psi) and have been thinking of moving more towards a 3 392 setup like Parish has been running. The question I have is what to do for normal driving (my truck is quite my DD, but given weather and running state of the truck I will drive it every day I can lol). I'm not sure I like the "sometimes on" setup I currently have anymore -- always wondering if today is the day that won't work lol.

Here's a couple Parallel pump setups.

The first setup with the massive feed lines are Bosch Motorsport FP200's - rated for over 200 LPH at 8 bar (115+ PSI). Big boys - the inlet is an M18. That setup fed over 1300 RWHP.

The 392's are our dedicated engine dyno cart setup.

The only concerns I would have with running a setup like this on the street would be heat affecting pump longevity. As long as you're running a full bypass system the fuel will keep the pump body fairly cool - it never hurts to mount them in a spot where they'll still get adequate cooling airflow.

Don't cheap out on your wiring though, and definitely use relays.

Whats the max suction head the 392s can handle? Can you use them without some sort of lift pump?

Yeah, I'm confused. How are you guys using 3 inline pumps with a stock fuel tank? Can they really draw fuel up and out of the tank?

i put a cell in my truck. here are a few pics.

http://www.neufamily.org/images/fuel/

before i had the twin intank set up with a voltage booster. it seemed like it worked ok but my fuel presure was not steady, didn't really drop but it spiked up and down. now it is rock solid. it is quieter too. i run one pump to about 4psi then the other 2 kick on.

i have -8 to the pumps, -6 after the pumps, all 3 ying into a -10 main line, y to 2 -8's into the rails(in parallel). -6 to the reg reg and home.

They'll pull up a pretty good column - haven't tried to fit them into a late model truck stock tank / pickup arrangement yet though. You'd need a serious lift pump setup to keep three of these fed.

Sorry I don't have a fix to offer here - may be getting around to it before too long, however.

Nice install Jim. How big is that cell? What's the purple anodized pipe? Return? Did you end up keeping the evap crap or just vent?
