I am looking at putting a T-56 in my 00 5.3 in the future, and wanted to findout how the clutch is setup on the 4.8 5spds. Is it the same hyduallic style as in the camaro??? Does anyone know the length of the stock manual in the 4.8??? I wanna sort shifter placement, clutch issues and such before I install it

There's a dude over on ls1truck.com that did an LS1/T56 conversion in his truck. I think his handle there is "6 gear" you may wanna stop over there and pick his mind. He had a nice writeup about it too from what I recall.
