Default Making a 4.8 fast

I have a 2004 Chevy Silverado RCSB 4.8L. It is quick for what it is. But I am not satisfied with it. What can I do to make it fast? Although, I still have a warranty. I would be willing to throw a small turbo on my engine with a small boost. My goal is 13s in a 1/4. Is there anyone willing to help me out with this? (help with making the right decision for parts) Also, since i'm new. I have no clue where to post this. So, I decided the v8 performance should be fine.

Nitrous, stall, tune...in no particular order, but all 3 make for a great performance gain.

What is the safest shot of nos could I run? Would there be a way I could "hide" it when I goto get an oil change?

The magnacharges may seem a little expensive compaired to a nitrous set up, but to have the power beneath your foot at all time, its worth it. Nitrous has to be filled, plus, theres a chance of a solenoid sticking and mass destruction. The magnacharger is reliable and wont void your warranty on your truck, as where if you roll in the dealer with nitrous, they're gonna laugh at ya.

My book...100 dry and 150 wet if you use it a lot on a stock motor. Sure, some have done a lot more, but only ocasionally.

Oil change.....do it yourself. It's cheaper and takes less time.

My buddy CRAZYCUTER4.8 is running 12.6s in his 03' EC 4.8! His mods are intake, dual exhaust, shorty headers,3000 stall,tune(ls1edit), comp 212/218 .522 .529 114LSA cam,Z06 valve springs,3.73 gears, factory "posi", free mods, 70 dry shot and 100 wet shot of n20, and built tranny. Since you have a RC you would be a whole lot faster with these mods! Good luck man. You can get some good power from the 4.8's!
