make your own UDP setup?

Is it possible to make your own underdrive system by buying different sized pulleys yourself?
I work at a parts store so I can get this stuff dirt cheap. Whats invovled in an underdrive system?

It's probably easiest and cheapest to buy an underdrive crank pulley.

I know that its the size of the pulleys and all, but I was just wondering if there was anything extra in a UDP set that i couldnt get myself.

No, unless you need an overdrive alternator pulley to bring that back up to speed. Those can be bought with the crank pulley I think. Also a shorter belt.
