Default Magnuson Side mount w/Intercooler

I see more and more used side mount magnachargers for sale, and the prices look pretty good. I was thinking if I could score one real cheap, then I could intercool pretty easily. Has anyone done this? Is the side mount essentially the same MP112 used in the radix kit? Aside from not being intercooled, what are its disadvantages?

It's an M90, (advantages) low power consumption, off idle response, full boost by 2k.

I havent seen one done yet. Fabbing an intercooler seems pretty easy, but as I looked into the specifics a little more, it seems apparent that you are going to need some pretty good fabrication skills as well as the ability to make some good welds.

You could up the boost and then use meth/alcy kit to cool the air back down. Will have one for sale in 4-6 weeks.

Really...PM me please! Looks like I might have to give myself a christmas present.

So it's an M90, not the M112. I think it will be adequate for what I'm attempting to do. I'm not trying to set a land-speed record or anything. And its nothing a 100shot can't fix. J/K

As for parts availability, does Magnuson still aknowledge/service these? What about pulley availability? I wish Brian were here, he could answer all this ****.

As far as i know magnuson still services these. They still have the sidemounts available on the website for an older truck. You should be ok with this. Im not sure about pulley-magnacharger doesnt manufactor the smaller pulleys to my understanding anyway but you should still be able to order from wherever just like with the GTP's etc.

There are no pullies available for this blower from magnacharger. I had one. they make ok power, full boost is only 5 psi. I wouldnt buy another one of them. I think you can get better systems for the money. Does magnacharger still sell them?
