I would love to have a Corsa, need some more dough for that. I have been looking and listening to Pypes Street Flow, I think I like them. They are cheap too. I might go with two 2.5 in/out and see what happens. This MagnaCrap has to go!

My personal opinion is to run a 3.5" denali/escalade muffler with a cutout. Badass when you need it and nice and quiet all other times.

That's similar to what I just took off, I was running a stock SS muffler and it sounded great, but something happened, it started to sound like crap after a few months. I have never been a fan of cutouts, don't know why. I am leaning towards Pypes right now, I just don't know which ones to get. Theres the Race-Flo M80 and the Street Flo. I like the Violator as well, but I think that might be louder than I want. They say the Race-flo is their quietest, but at 2.5", it flows a claimed 453cfm. The street flow at 2.5" flows 349cfm. I am trying to do everything I can to keep the TQ down low, so I think the lower cfm will be good.

I am torn between dual 2.5" street flows, or one 3". I would also like the tone to be more crisp and throaty rather than a deep smooth tone. Anyone that has any input, please chime in, thanks guys.

Ap, the 22" magnaflow is probably the single most recommended muffler on this website. That's why I tried it. It was really horrible IMO. It was so quiet and did nothing but drone. At WOT my clutch fan was more audible than the exhaust note. It didn't sound muscular at all.

my dual 3" in/out magnaflow drones like crazy right at 26-2800...
that just started happening when i switched it from 3" dumped to 2.5" all the way back..
drives me crazy when just crusing around town, im thinkin of just putting in some 3" cats..
this is my daily driver and the noise is just getting to me..

idle was sexyyyy and WOT was sick. but anywhere else sounded like garbage. i put two dynomax bullets i had laying around before it. no it sounds same way all over but quieter. the mean idle sound went away and WOT sounds like it did with just cats before.

Mine are loud as **** also, and have pipes straight out the rear. I installed a balance tube before the mufflers, and made absolutely no difference in sound. I don't hate the tone, but the Alabama Blat it makes at WOT has to go. Anyone else?

I'm in the same boat, kind of. Idle and WOT sound great, but everywhere else is meh, and at cruise speeds the drone is just plain terrible. I found a 22" Hooker aerochamber on ebay for a good price and ordered it yesterday, hopefully it helps.

I've got the 22" too, and it is really quiet, but I don't have any drone at all. I also don't have LT's, which may be why I'm not getting drone.
