All I know was that on my 2003 s10 supercharged I notice a seat of the pants difference between the flowmaster and my magnaflow catback. Alot more responsive with the magnaflo. But I guess a piece of paper with some numbers on it means more to you than peoples personal experiance with things. All I know is that I HAVE RUN BOTH and I made the decision that best suited my likes and need.
I Love the way my Magnaflo sounds on my fullsize.

I just dont like the sound of flo's, They are on everything nowadays.

I think no one can argue with the flow charts and it seems obvious to me that having the chambers in the muffler should restrict flow a little but what difference do you think there will be between the flowmaster and the magnaflow like maybe 5 horsepower. is that enough to argue about? i think the main difference is just the sound and everyone has their own preference on sound.

I have the same cat-back. I love the sound at wot, no drone like my Gibson had, and it is very quiet (too quiet for me) all other times. But it keeps the wife happy, so for now it stays.

I have the 3in single in single out magnaflow on my '99 4.8L silerado, nice system, fits well, installed easy, very quiet--i was very surprised--was hoping for more rumble!

How loud is that system at WOT? Louder than my dynomax ultraflo's? How much louder will it get with long tube headers and an offroad y pipe?

Well I have the Magnaflow and went with it for the quieter sound over the Flowmaster.

I like the low rumble at idle and then it screams at WOT. Highway speeds there is hardly any droan in the cab.

I have a dual 3" in / single 4" out on my 6.0L
