thinkin about gettin a magnaflow race muffler welded up next week, anyone on here running one? thinking about getting the 14 inch version but i'd like to hear the 6 inch version too....

I'm running one. Its a 3" in/out 5x8 oval 6" long version. Running it with my stock manifolds and y-pipe, sounds really good, not near as loud as one might expect, and I've got it dumped at the axle.

I'm planning on cutting the cats off my stock y-pipe and extending the tailpipe to the rear with my SLP (corsa clone) tip.

 

My brother is running the exact muffler gs7793 posted a pic of. His is a 3in. In/Out running with stock Manifolds and Y. It is not very loud at idle but it does have a nice sound when he gets into it. With a tailpipe it is very mellow in the cab, but he is running a turndown as of now and there is more interior noise. The reason he has it is because a buddy of mine put a pair of LPP longtubes with ORY and it was way to loud for him, atleast for everyday driving.

 

I like the size. Would like to hear them on the street.

 

I'm going to run 2 of those with my new true dual setup BEHIND my 2 magnaflow 22"ers. 4 mufflers for me, yay

 

i just ordered the 14 inch one today, i'll post up some vids when i get it welded up sometime mid-end of next week....
