Default Magnaflow Part Numbers ?...

Magnaflow part # 15778 is the most common used on our extended cab short bed trucks for "side exit exhaust". Im doing a little research on the 15818 kit from magnaflow. Does anyone have info on this kit? Has anyone installed this kit? Whats the differecne between the 2 kits besides muffler size? thanks!

I have the Magnaflow 15618. All I can tell you is it is 100% 3" mandrel bent Stainless Steel with a high polished muffler and 4" tip. It is a high quality cat back and looks and sounds great! I really don't know about the other part #'s you mentioned, but I thought this was the most popular part# for ECSB. I do know that the 6.0 trucks have a different Y pipe, but I don't know about the 2003 and 2004 models, as this one is for 1999-2002.

Man is magnaflow still in business? no returned email's and, no one answers the phone.

!!EDIT!! of course they answer as soon as i post!! Any way some info for ya, i guess GM changed the exhaust for 04 slightly, so magaflow is updating the kit and part numbers. should be out in a couple of days they say. And they still could not tell me the difference in the 03 kits 15778 vs. 15818. Even though the web site says its a smaller muffler (15818) and for a "Super cab" not extended cab or crew cab.
