If you go that route with the Magnaflow and a turndown then you will definately know when your truck is running...don't know what your are looking for, but that setup will resonate in the cab a bit.....if you are staying simple then you might wanna consider a side exit

I have the large Magnaflow dumped before the axle and its not too loud at all...has a nice rumble at start up and idle, but doesnt resonate too bad at all on the highway.

I used to have a flowmaster dumped before I got the headers and it was too loud! I got the headers installed and within 24 hrs went to the muffler shop looking for a new muffler. I got the magnaflow dumped before the axle and it sounds good. Not too much interior "NOISE".

Anyone have an idea about how much it would run to get the magnaflow and turndown done at a muffler shop just trying to get a ballpark figure.

between 110 and 140 would jsut depend but sounds about right. you could probably save some money buying the muffelr separate and having them install it for like $30.

My dual 11" Magnaflows are very quiet. Yes, they are dumped. MUCH quieter than my old Dynomax 1in/2out dumped.
