Default Magnaflow or Hooker?

Having trouble deciding between the longer magnaflow or the longer aerochamber for my 06 ccsb 5.3 sierra. I want a better sound with out all the cab noise which is why I am looking at the longer length. Something to go with my cai and blackbear tune comming in atl.Any suggestions?

Do you have Cats?

We put a Aerochamber on my buddys Trans Am and it sounds wicked and is quiet cruising. He has LTs ORY.
Even tho thats in a car i dont know how it would sound in a truck.

Id go with a long magnaflow unless you want to try the Aerochamber first.

i have the Magnaflow 12259 on mine right now and it is quiet cruising and towing..

Yes I still have cats but I thought about loosing them and Lts are in the future. Do you know what # and length aerochamber your buddy has?

Magnaflow all the way with pipes out the back, I had mine dumped on my 91 and you couldn't hear yourself think.

Honestly it probably doesn't really matter. Pick which ever one you can get cheaper or you think you will like the sound better with. Don't know about the hookers, but I have a Magnaflow and I like it.

I've had both mufflers but neither were the longer cases. The hooker sounded good but I like the magnaflow I have a lot better.

Magnaflow sounds nice, but everyone and their mother has one so I got a 14in aerochamber for my 5.3, no regrets and Im not going back anytime soon.

If you keep the cats in there it's not loud at all, just a little more than the stocker.
