Default Magnaflow Center/Center vs. Center/Offset Mufflers

I am running a 4x9x14" Magnaflow oval muffler 3in Center In/Out with a turndown, and it has gotten to the point where its just to loud. I want to stick with Magnaflow except run a tailpipe this go round. I'm looking at the 18" cases and my question is, do the inlet and outlets of the muffler effect how loud they will be?? Im thinking of going with a 18" Center In/Offset Out that way it will be easier to go over the axle. Are the Center/Center mufflers louder than offset mufflers? I did some searching and it seems like the 4x9 and 5x8 cases all sound about the same as far as loudness, and its just for fitment reasons. Anyone ever run different types of in/outs? Thanks

I have a center in offset out thru muffler. It is not a magnaflow and is quieter and easier on the ears.

i doubt switching from center/center to center/offset will do anything for sound. if you want it to be quieter step up to a bigger or longer case size.

Yea thats why I think I'm gunna go with an 18". I dont mind hearing it, I just dont want it to be deafining inside. Just tryin to decide what in and outs. You have a 24" right Cody?
