Default Which Magnaflow?

Same old question-different day

I have a 99 silverado ecsb with 5.3

Want a magnaflow, no other options there, just trying to decide which one to go with.

Stock manifolds, stock y pipe with cats. I want to go single in, dual out. Just purchased my tips from a member, they are magnaflow 3 1/2" SS tips. Plan to have them installed behind rear tire each side going out at angle.

So, i am trying to decide, which body size to go with. I assume i want a 3" in, dual 2 1/2 out. My tips work with 2 1/2". Now, trying to decide on which size body. listened to a clip of a 5x8X18" and liked it's sound...but it was single out 4" tip. will mine sound that much different?

i don't want huge drone in truck, some is tolerable. Just don't want to be driven out of the cab. Want to be able to tell its there and get loud on WOT...

thoughts?

How loud do you want it? I have heard that the smaller the case the louder it is, the bigger the case the quieter it is.

well, it's always hard to judge one persons loud from another. My big thing is, i am not looking for something so loud it runs me out of the truck. i want to know it's there, and get loud when i want at WOT, otherwise, just a nice deep tone to it. i think the 22 or bigger would be to quiet for me. i am thinking either 18 or 14". would i notice much difference to a 4X9 case?

Here's my single in/out I love it. No drone and it lets people know you are there when you get into it. This was with the 4.8. PN#12579. Sound will be different with the size dual out you chose, but at least you get an idea of how loud the 22" case is.
Case Length (in): 22.000 in.
Overall Length (in): 28.000 in.
Thickness (in): 5.000 in.
Width (in): 11.000 in.
