Check to see if the crank bolt is missing.Mine came out I heard a ping, then the pulley begain to make noise as it woobled loose, sounded like the crank had broke and the temperture gauge pegged.Upon inspection,I only found minor scoring of the crank snout,so I installed a new crank pulley without dressing the crank snout using the long bolt in the Magnacharger pinning kit, then using the fixture furnished with the kit as a guide I drilled and reamed the crank snout, then installed the furnished pins with the furnished crank bolt.
