Default MAF and TB with Radix?

I am planning out my Radix install on my 01 Z71. Already have a Volant box. Will there be an advantage to upgrading my MAF unit and the throttle body? If so what brands/ models should I be looking at. Are the Granatellis all that or just hype? I am assuming that with an 01 I have a mech TB not a E version.

I have tried both up grades and saw little or no improvement for the $$ spent.

in theory both should help. in reality in all depends on a lot of factors. i ran both before the whipple broke my motor. the bigger bbk throttle body makes the throttle super sensetive had to drive with a light foot to not get whiplash from the start. thats cause it flows more air for the percentage of opening throttle input. then a little slower till the revs built pulled stronger 4500to 6100. maf was maybe .05 at strip maybe a.1 that was a gms cold air calibrated for my volant ram air. If I decide to keep the whipple on my truck after the motor rebuild I would then have all for sale .I would not need my hpp3,granetelli maf with ram air calibration, big bbk throttle body,or volant intake with ram air scoop i below bumper .all that stuff cost me well over 1200 to begin with and can not use with the whipple. or i will sell the whipple if i go back to natural aspiration and sleeper 6.0 that looks like a normal modified 5.3 to everyone including the smog emission out the tailpipes.
