the best run of the evening was
60'-2.64
1/8-10.797
mph 67.78
1000'- 13.902
1/4- 16.501
mph- 86.99
the best light was .510 pretty good. the only problem was right before it shifted from 1st-2nd gear, it would make a weird sound and the shift real hard. it was making a loud pop that could be heard from the starting line. it was like it was rapping out but it was to loud and really wierd sounding. after the first run it just kept getting louder and louder and more noticable. if anyone can help me or know anything about what it might be it sure would be appreciated. oh yeah diablo tuners arent cool. i rode with nightmare (he has 4.10) but still damb the nelson beets the diablo easily. i will be going with nelson as soon as i sell my old rims or my subs and amps. so anyone who is going to buy a diablo spend the money on a nelson instead.

yeah real heavy. 2x10" fosgate p2 subs. pro box, 1001bd fosgate amp, copacitor, heavy *** 18"( fixing to have much lighter 22" wheels) thinking about selling subs and amp and box to lose a little bit of weight.
i brake stalled to about 1500 rpm's it will stall harder and still hook up but my brakes are kinda acting funny.

where in texas are ya? and on a side note dont brake stall that high puts your timming at about -2 degrees of timming , just stall it up to 900 or 1000 then your timming is about right with the TM nope being removed that will bring your 60' time down to a 2.30 and the poping noise is probly hitting the rev limiter then shifting about the same time confusing the computer, lower your shift points down a couple and see it that works. later, kevin

hey man thanks for the help. iam located around san angelo. actually 70 miles from it in a little town called Big Lake. we run at san angelo dragway which is right outside of san angelo. i stalled to 1000 the first run the, the second about 1200, and the last run about 1500. my last run was my fastest 60' of the night. oh yeah my tow haul was on. the diablo has a setting for the transmission that is only in effect when the tow haul is on. my shift points were set at 6000rpm all the way through and i never had any problems from 2to 3rd. but i will try kicking it back to 5800 and see what she will do.

I think you can knock that time down quite a bit by improving the way you are driving it. Something just isn't adding up, my truck bone stock ran a 15.5x, and my worst 60' foot time stock was like a 2.3x...ever. You will definately improve with practice.

it must be the difference in alttitude nigthmare(4.10, nelson, K&N) best run is like 15.4 he was running slower the other night for some reason. his 60' foots were close to the ones you talked about. i think my rims are a big factor. i will run it as soon as the track opens back up with the new wheels. i hope they help a little

well i drove my truck to work today. got on it pretty hard and again the tranny made the sound. even during normal driving it shifts really hard. the shift points and shift firmness are at stock settings. i think i will take it to the dealer and have them check it before it gets worse.
