The shop that did mine has put together 15 to 20 and has not been a problem. I did have to move the tray that bolt to the block in the oil pan it was hitting the rod bolts. I just beat the hell out of it and used 2 washers on each bolt.

You should see what they look like when they have a 4.250" stroke in there!!!

The only block machining I did was boring, squaring the deck (not needed in my case), and a line hone.
