Ive got a 08 silverado 5.3, if I swap to an ly6, can I use my current headers and cam (228)? Is the swap pretty cut and dry? Thought about a blower, but Id like to keep it simple.

 

So you've done a DOD delete already and want to swap your cam into the LY6 6.0L that probably has VVT? I guess you could delete the VVT if needed and correct for that in the tune. There will be some challenges with this I suspect.

 

Should be a pretty basic swap. Everything will bolt up, just need to have the tune modified for the changes.
