Default LT4 cam help

97 5.7 CHEV stock L31
i need some help with selecting springs and rocker arms to go with the cam
i appreciate the help that i have gotten thus far but i dont under stand bee hive and other springs
the spring that have been suggested to me, have different specs
I need some quality springs that doesn't require modification to the spring or the heads but not high dollar cost
i need some 1.6:1 rocker arm also
can someone also explain how a valve spring works

If you are going with the LT4 Hot Cam, just get the spring, rocker, and retainer kit that comes with the camshaft.
