Default LT1 fans on the way, wiring help inside

alright so i just got some LT1 fans for $100 bucks. i had previously won an auction for $61 but somehow the item got removed from ebay and i could use that pay now button from the email abay sent for the past 2 days due to a "system error item removed" ANYWAYS i broke down and got these from tennesee auto and now for my question, ill be buying a harness from white1 and im trying to do everything to avoid getting a retune for the pcm pin42 to get turned on for the things to work. he and i are PMing of late and hes explaining it to me but i was wondering about other people take.
first ill connect the two plugs to the fans
one wire to a 12+ source
one wire to a ground
one wire to the a/c wire (someone will need to inform me of what color and where)
THEN i have the pcm pin42 connection. i do not know what i am supposed to do with this when avoiding getting the pin turned on. i was suggested to get a switch to manually conrol it and everything but how will i wire this up? please explain

haha yea money and some time, i get tuned at MTI, though only 25 minutes away for every retune its about 70 bucks, grantid imgetting the cam installed and all that soon so i'll have to get it retuned then so i could always have it turned on then and install the fans thereafter. i just dont want to wait until after the cam install to put on the fans. as of now though i do have quite the list of things to get retuned for. basically, when the fans get herre i want to be able to put them on instead of waiting until after the cam install/retune to be able to. the switch would only be temporary for when i DID get retuned i would connected it to pin42 anways

Instead of using pin42 you use a switch. A switch either makes the circuit or breaks the circuit. Use a switch with two connectors: one connector is for the wire normally going to pin42, the other connector will be a ground.

Switch on: circuit is completed, ground is made.
Switch off: circuit is broken, no ground.

you might also think about wiring in a relay with that switch so you will have manual control but they will always shut down when the engine is off. Look for the SEO fuse in the panel thats on the side of the dash.
When 12 volts is supplied, the relay will complete the ground.

here's a suggestion: white1 and I have HP Tuners licenses for 2000 and 2003 model trucks - run a toggle switch for the time being, attend one of the Houston GTG when one of us goes or come down whenever the No Problem Raceway meet happens and we can activate the fans for you.

relay is not needed on the toggle switch, all he is doing is replacing the PCM out signal for the fans. The harness contains all of the needed relays, a low power switch will be more than ample, it's just activating the relays
