Default LT1 Cam ???

hey guys i have a '94 chevy silverado pickup with a 5.7 liter 350 tbi. and i was told that stock LT1 cams work in engines such as mine, is this true? if so where can i get one and how much of a lift do they have stock? please reply

are you looking for a used lt1 cam? try ebay if you are looking for a performance cam u might wanna A comp cam

ok, and no i dont want a used cam, i want a new cam. if the lift is something like a .500 or more lift i want it, if not then no

make sure your motor has a roller cam in it also the dowel pin lenght will be to long for your application so you will have to measure the one in your motor and then grind down the LT1 cam dowel pin to your specs

Yes...actually like he said. The LT1 cam is a hyd. roller and your engine should have the provisions for this but you will need a hyd. roller conversion lifter kit, pushrods, and timing chain. The LT1 specs is 201/208 @.050 duration and .447/.459 lift. The LT4 cam is 203/210 with about the same lift. LSA is around 115 for both cams. You'll also need to change your springs as well.

oh okay well the cam i got is bigger than that so i will jsut stick with what i got. but thanks guys i really appreciate it
