Default LT headers - Cutout Location?

I'm getting some pacesetters soon, and at the moment i have a jegs 3" cutout before my muffler.

What I'm wondering is, should i buy another cutout and get them put in behind the collectors on the headers? Or would this be too close for a stock internal engine with no cats(burning valves).

If so, would i be better off keeping a single cutout and placing it after the Y pipe?

Keep it after the y-pipe right before the muffler.

I want it to be loud. Thats why I have a cutout, from 1 extreme to the other
I'm just wondering if it will be safe for my engine. Also, will the sound difference be all that much between after the collectors dual, or after the Y pipe with no cats.

i always heard to put some paint on your exhaust and drive around for a week or so and where the paint stops peeling off is where you want the cutout to be
