Default LT Complete bolt-on (does it exist?)

I'm looking for some LT headers that I can install in my garage. No welding, no pipe bending. Has anybody installed LT headers on their truck via band clamps? Is it a bad idea to use band clamps? Over the past 2 weeks I've gotten different answers from the actual shops that make the headers to the vendors that sell them on what works. I'd prefer personal experience here, not what was posted on the header companys website ("bolt-on" with some companies seems to mean "bolt the headers on and weld and fabricate the portion which fits to the rest of the exhaust."

Thanks,
jp

The Supermaxx Headers, are the only true bolt on kit. It includes the headers, cats and Y-Pipe, which will cost you much more over the others. TOG and AS&M's require cutting and welding the stock Y-Pipe. I think the Pacesetters also require so welding.

No they dont!. You have to cut and weld if you do not get the y-pipe. But if you get the Pacesetters and the y-pipe you need no welding at all! The Supermax setup is cool. But the gains can be had for way way less cash.

tkaiser,

I've been told (dont remember if it was the vendor or the dynatech guy) that the complete system will not fit my truck (2500HD ccsb 4wd).

Did you just purchase the headers or the complete system?

AH, 4WD. Paces arent gonna work then. May have buy some Thorleys, ASM's or whatever will work and get welding done.... If the S-Max's wont fit.

Yes, but notice that the add doesnt state that the headers are a direct "bolt-on" fit. the system is a direct bolt-on for hummers, SS,escalade, and denali.
